Uses for SEAFOOD SEASONING

Preparation of Seared Chicken

POACHED PRAWNS


2 Tablespoons oil
½ can Chopped tomatoes
113g Chopped celery
1 small onion (chopped)
2 Cloves garlic (chopped)
24 medium raw prawns, shelled with tails on
1 Tablespoon of Seafood Seasoning

Sauté the onions, celery and garlic in a saucepan. Add the chopped tomatoes and Seafood Seasoning and simmer for about 10 min. Add the raw prawns and cook over medium heat just until the prawns have turned pink. Serve on a bed of rice.



FRIED CRUMBED FISH


250g White fish fillets (halibut, cod, groper)
1 Egg beaten
Dried bread crumbs to coat fish
1 Tablespoon of Seafood Seasoning
 

Break the egg into a small plate and beat briefly. Add the Seafood Seasoning into the egg. Place fillets into egg mixture then coat each with bread crumbs. Heat oil in frying pan and when hot add the fish. Brown to medium and then turn to brown again. This can also be duplicated by using prawns or shrimp.
